Auction Management

One of Channel Velocity's strongest services is auction management. CV is well-known for its ability to run auctions for some of the world's leading brands.

Unique to Channel Velocity Auction Management is the ability to conduct high volume auctions while maintaining price points that meet or beat top market prices. All this is done while maximizing sales volume.

Product Merchandising
Channel Velocity has high volume merchandising processes that can handle unique items or SKU-based items. Product catalogs are either supplied or supplemented from the client but in most cases merchandising is completed with CV's process knowledge and technology.

Listing/Scheduling
Channel Velocity Auction Managers generate listing strategies by product, category, and brand. Listing strategy is automated and refined through CV auction management software. Rule based selling is applied which in turn affects dozens of selling variables to optimize a given objective. Scheduling is done in a similar manner.

Up-sell/Cross-sell
Selling the item is only the beginning. Now you own the customer relationship and there is an opportunity to up-sell and cross-sell additional items.

"Petsafe started doing business with Channel Velocity early in 2003. We were looking for a way to improve our recovery on No-Fault-Found (NFF) returns. As with the rest of the consumer electronics industry, the bulk of our returns passed functional and quality tests upon return. Since the retail box is usually open, most do not meet our criteria to be repackaged and sold as a new unit. Channel Velocity offered us a solution to merchandise our NFF returns on E-bay.
