Evanston, IL November 1, 2004 Mark Mulert has been named Chief Technology Officer of Channel Velocity, Inc, on-line asset recovery solutions provider and one of the leading eBay Certified Solution Providers. Mulert is senior-level executive, with more the 20 years experience providing software solutions. He will be responsible for overall technical direction, internal software development and development a commercial application to support on-line sellers. “Mark brings an expertise and discipline to our organization that enables us to leverage our proven expertise in outsourcing on-line sales of excess inventory into a software product for others who sell into eBay and other on line marketplaces,” commented Wes Shepherd, president and CEO of Channel Velocity. Mulert’s experience includes 9 years with a startup software company, The Premisys Corporation, where he held responsibilities for client management, internal technical operations and product development for a sales configurator application. Mulert continued in a senior management role with JD Edwards after they acquired Premisys and subsequently with PeopleSoft after their acquisition of JD Edwards. “Channel Velocity is in a great position to capitalize on the growing volume of asset-recovery activity in on-line markets,” said Mulert. “We have a solid base of technology developed to support our internal fulfillment business, and we will go to market with a proven solution.
